Molecular diagnostics uses molecular signatures for disease identification, monitoring treatment effectiveness and even for predicting a patients response to a new treatment. Although adoption of this technology in the clinical laboratory setting has been slower than anticipated, novel tools continue to create vastly superior alternatives to conventional established methods. Apart from diagnosis of disease, molecular tests will soon gain more significance as medicine gradually shifts toward targeted or personalized treatment methods.
Laboratory Medicine & Molecular Diagnostics (LMMD) has state of the art molecular diagnostics for numerous viral and bacterial infectious diseases, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease and Genetic Diseases. RGCB offers these investigations to the public as part of its social commitment. LMMD will also offer laboratory testing services for RGCB investigators who need specific laboratory testing for their research. LMMD also runs its own R&D programs in technology development, assay development and biomarker discovery.
