Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Research Associate/ Senior research fellow in a DST funded research project entitled "Analysis of Fodrin Association with Gamma-tubulin complex, the Microtubule Organizer" in the Laboratory of Dr.Suparna Sengupta at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.


Only one. One suitable candidate will be selected from the pool of RA / SRF


Research Associate:

Essential Qualification:

PhD in Life Sciences with published experience in cloning, mammalian cell transfection and imaging techniques.

Senior Research Fellow:

Essential Qualification:

Masters degree in any branch of Life Science with first class and two to three years experience in cloning, mammalian cell transfection and imaging techniques.

Desirable Qualification:

National Eligibility Test (NET)/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. Experience in proteomics/genomics is desirable.


Research Associate:
Below 35 years as on 25th April, 2017.
Senior Research Fellow:
Below 31 years as on 25th April, 2017.


Research Associate:
36,000 + 20% HRA per month
Senior Research Fellow:
28,000 + 20% HRA per month for NET/GATE qualified candidates and 14,000/- + 20% HRA per month for others.


Three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.


Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. No TA/ DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
