A RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF RAJIV GANDHI CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY (RGCB) THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

Requires the following temporary project positions:

1 Project Associate (Medical Biochemistry) 45 years,

MSc Medical Biochemistry from a duly approved University.
1. Five years experience in Medical Biochemistry in a reputed clinical laboratory.

2. Knowledge of current and latest clinical biochemical investigations.

3. Expertise in operating, calibrating and maintaining modern biochemical analyzers.

4. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

5. Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and management procedures as prescribed by NABL and NABH.

2 Project Associate (Medical Microbiology) 45 years,

MSc Medical Biochemistry from a duly approved University.
1. Five years experience in Medical Microbiology in a reputed clinical laboratory.

2. Knowledge of current and latest clinical microbiology investigations.

3. Expertise in operating, calibrating and maintaining modern automated microbiology analyzers.

4. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

5. Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and management procedures as prescribed by NABL and NABH.

5. Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and management procedures as prescribed by NABL and NABH.

  3. Candidates shortlisted based on possession of essential qualifications described in the advertisement will be called for a selection interview at RGCB. Should there be more than 15 shortlisted candidates, a pre-selection test will be conducted and a further shortlisting for selection interview will be done. No TA or DA will be paid for attending the selection procedures at RGCB. Decision of the duly constituted selection committee will be final and no further correspondence or enquires on this will be entertained.
  4. All project positions will be co-terminus with the completion or termination of the project.
