1. Introduction to Mammalian Cell culture: Techniques and instrumentation, general applications of mammalian cell culture in biotechnology, lab management, maintenance of sterility.
2. Do's & Don'ts in tissue culture lab.
3. Preparation of medium and required solutions.
4. Cell line revival and storage methods, maintenance, sub-culturing, determination of cell growth and viability, cell cycle analysis by flow cytometry and imaging.
5. Cell migration and invasion assays, cell death analysis by flow cytometry, DNA transfection methods demonstration.
6. Cell biology manipulation in monoclonal antibody generation , cell fusion , cloning , single B cell sorting , demo of common cell biology application using flow cytometry and imaging.
7. Immunofluorescence and live cell imaging approaches.
8. Primary cell isolation.
9. Contamination testing and elimination.
10. Drug screening approaches using cell culture models and engineered cells of organoids and 3D models.
