Inauguration of the Agasthyalayam Traditional Medicine Unit
The inauguration of the Agasthyalayam Traditional Medicine Unit in Kallar, Ponmudi, Thiruvananthapuram was auspiciously conducted by Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana, Director of RGCB, on 22nd February 2024. This initiative is dedicated to practicing and promoting tribal medicinal treatments, specifically traditional steam baths using medicinal herbs. Under the DST - SHRI program, the Unit was supported for the installation of a medicated steam bath facility with necessary accessories for establishing the facility.
