As part of our symposium themed "Lipidomics in Disease Biology," we invite students, researchers, and professionals to showcase their innovative work through Oral Abstract Presentations and Traditional Poster Presentations. This is your opportunity to connect with a premier scientific community and present your research to an audience of experts and peers.


Oral Abstract Presentations
  1. Engage from the podium with a distinguished scientific audience.

  2. Each oral presentation will be allocated 10 minutes, including Q & A.

  3. Selection: A few abstracts submitted for the symposium will be chosen for oral presentations, offering participants a unique chance to present their research on stage.

Traditional Poster Presentations
  1. Share your research in an interactive format with attendees.

  2. Categories include Lipidomics, Metabolomics, and Proteomics in Disease Biology

  3. Prizes: Exciting awards will be presented to the best posters in each category.

Scientific Abstract Submission Guidelines

General Information

  1. 1. Abstract Language: English

  2. 2. Word Limit: Maximum of 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).

  3. 3. Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced.

  4. 4. File Format: Submit as a PDF document.


Abstract Structure

Your abstract should be structured as follows:

1. Title

- Should be concise and descriptive (maximum of 20 words).

- Use sentence case; no abbreviations or acronyms in the title.

2. Authors and Affiliations

- List all authors with full names (e.g., First Name Last Name).

- Include affiliations for each author, using superscript numbers to indicate affiliation.

- Indicate the presenting author with an asterisk (*).

Example:
John Doe¹, Jane Smith² ¹Department of Biology, XYZ University, City, Country ²Institute of Biochemistry, ABC Organization, City, Country

3. Background/Introduction

- Briefly state the research problem or objective.

4. Methods

- Outline the methodology or techniques used in your study.

5. Results

- Present the key findings. Include specific data if available, but avoid extensive details.

6. Conclusion

- Summarize the significance and implications of your research.

7. Keywords (Optional)

- Provide up to five keywords separated by commas.


Submission Process
  1. 1. Fee: None

  2. 2. Deadline: Abstract submissions must be received by January 27, 2025 before 05:00 PM.

  3. 3. File Naming Convention: Use the format LastName_FirstName_Abstract.docx.

Selection Criteria
  1. 1. Scientific merit, originality, and clarity.

  2. 2. Completeness of the abstract (all sections included).

  3. 3. A few abstracts will be selected for Oral Presentations based on their quality and relevance.

Additional Notes

- Submitting an abstract does not register you for the conference. Registration is a separate fee. You must register for the conference to be able to present your abstract during the conference.

- Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines may be rejected.

- Authors will be notified of acceptance by February 3, 2025.
