ONE DAY WORKSHOPS
#7 : JUPYTER NOTEBOOK FOR
PYTHON BEGINNERS
Trainer: Mrs. Meena Vinaykumar
Date : 21-07-2021
Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web
application that enables the creation and
sharing of documents that include live code,
equations, visualizations, and narrative text.
This workshop demonstrated how to use
Jupyter Notebooks to learn Python, as well
as how to set it up on one’s local computer.
Additionally, we taught several Python
packages to have a deeper understanding
of data exploration and visualization. There
is no requirement for prior programming
No. of participants - 16 knowledge for attending this course, but the
more one understands programming, the
more one may explore.
#8 : COMPUTATIONAL STRUCTURE-
BASED SCREENING AND EXPLICIT
MOLECULAR DYNAMICS
Trainer: Schrodinger & RGCB Speakers
Date : 03-08-2021 & 04-08-2021
A two-days cloud-based hands-on workshop
focusing on structure-based drug designing
was conducted. Participants gained practical
experience and in-person guidance on
how to use the Maestro GUI, covering the
organic molecule sketching, protein selection,
preparation, and screening for hit identification
of molecules against therapeutic targets.
The workshop also offered a brief review of
the fundamental theory underlying molecular No. of participants - 45
mechanics, molecular docking, and molecular
dynamics through case studies on real-time
industrial projects.
