#9 : BASICS OF MOLECULAR
DYNAMIC SIMULATIONS

This course was designed for people
interested in learning the fundamentals of
molecular dynamics simulations and a hands-
on approach to the capabilities of GROMACS
software and free energy calculations. No
prior experience in the field of structural
bioinformatics is required to attend this
course, but a basic knowledge of protein
structure is advantageous. Experience with
a UNIX-like command-line environment is not
required, but it helps to type the commands No. of participants - 41

BEGINNERS

This introductory workshop was intended for
candidates with a biological background but
without any prior programming experience.
This workshop introduced the basic concepts
of programming with hands-on sessions to
practice writing simple python scripts.
