QUOTATION FOR HIRING OF VEHICLES
Competitive quotations are invited from Travel Agencies for hiring of Tourist Taxies for use at all the Campuses of RGCB at Thiruvananthapuram. The rates shall be quoted for each vehicle as per the following tables, separately:

The quotation in sealed cover may be submitted to the undersigned on or before 10.09.2025 by 3 p.m. Quotation will be opened at 3.30 pm on the same day.

Mode of bid: Tender will have to be submitted to RGCB, duly signed by the authorised official.

While submitting the quotations, the following general terms and conditions may be taken into account:
- The vehicle to be supplied should be registered on or after 01.08.2019. RGCB reserve the rights to reject any vehicle provided by the contractor even if the vehicle is less than 5 years old, if not satisfied with the condition of vehicle and the contractor should provide another vehicle to the utmost satisfaction of the Centre.
- The drivers deputed for the work should have basic education and adequate experience and shall possess decent behaviour.
- No payment shall be made towards Road Tax, Permit for out station trips, waiting charges, Drivers Allowance etc.
- The vehicle supplied by the contractor shall possess comprehensive Insurance Policies and the vehicle shall be the latest model i.e., registered on or after 01.08.2019. All Taxes payable to Government for the vehicle should be paid up to date.
- The drivers shall adhere to the safety and security regulations of RGCB including security checks and obey the Rules and Regulations of the Institute issued from time to time.
- The vehicle should be well maintained with neat and tidy upholstery.
- In the event of damage to the RGCB property or injury to RGCB's/Contractors personnel, due to the negligence of Contractor's Employees the responsibility to make good all such resultant losses shall solely rest with the contractor. RGCB shall not be responsible for loss of life of Contractor's personnel caused at RGCB due to accidents/natural calamities/explosions etc.
- The drivers deputed to RGCB by the contractor shall remain the employee of the Contractor and they will not acquire any claim for future employment in RGCB or right for regularizations as employees of the Institute. The service providers or Driver engaged by the service providers shall not have any right to claim for employment based on the work done through this contract.
- All other terms and conditions as per annexure I.
