Rajiv Gandhi centre for Biotechnology, A Centre of excellence in the field of disease biology under the Department of Bio technology Government of India in cooperation with the Department of Health & Family welfare Government of Kerala have established Medical Laboratory Services units in the Government hospitals across the district of Trivandrum. The facility is to provide quality diagnostic services to the patients attend the Government hospitals at very reasonable charges for all the investigations. All the laboratories under this scheme are accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH).
Now the Government have encouraged us to provide advanced training in Medical Diagnostics and related areas to the staff and others engaged in the field of clinical investigations in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and Haematology etc. Hands on training to B.Sc MLT, DMLT, Graduates and Post Graduates in Biochemistry & Microbiology
