Applications are invited from suitable candidates for position of Data Analyst in a research program on "Human papillomavirus (HPV)-related oropharyngeal cancer burden and the natural history of oral HPV infections" in the Human Papillomavirus Research Program at RGCB. The research program investigates the contribution of HPV infections in several cancers with the aim of contributing to primary and secondary prevention of cancer.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must have good academic record with first class Master's Degree in Statistics or Public Health or equivalent.
PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Skills in large data analysis, meta analysis, epidemiology.
AGE
Below 30 years as on June 28, 2019. Exceptional candidates will be given age relaxation.
EMOLUMENTS
Rupees 25,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc./MPH Degree/Equivalent Degree holders.
DURATION
Three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier. However initial appointment will be for one year. Upon annual evaluation, the position will be renewed subject to performance and funding.
SELECTION PROCESS

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are successful in the written test will be interviewed.
No TA/DA/Other emoluments will be given for appearing in the written test/interview.
