Applications are invited from suitable candidates for temporary positions of Laboratory Technologists and Laboratory Technologist Interns in the Medical Laboratory Services Program at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT
35 years as on August 20, 2020. Age relaxation will be given as per RGCB Rules.

As per RGCB norms for Institute Project Staff.
TENURE
Initial appointment for the position of Laboratory Technologist is for one year and is extendable subject to performance assessment. For the Laboratory Technologist Intern, initial period of internship is six months.
SELECTION PROCESS
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials and experience to reach the undersigned on or before August 20, 2020. Envelopes must be superscripted with the advertisement number and job title. Applications can also be sent as a single PDF file to phrs@rgcb.res.in.
Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the positions will be co terminus with end of the project.
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply. In the event of more than 15 candidates being short-listed after screening applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are ranked in the written test will be interviewed.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection procedures at RGCB.
The Director, RGCB reserves the right to fill or not to fill these positions. The decision of the Director, RGCB will be final and no further correspondence or enquiries on this will be entertained.
