ROLLING ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY POSITIONS OF LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST INTERN

Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens) for LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST INTERN in the Public Health Research & Services Programme – CMLS Units of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) located at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Kottayam Districts. The applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be scrutinized and evaluated on quarterly basis.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from approved Universities/ Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DME approved)
Age
Below 30 years as on December 31, 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
Emolument
A consolidated pay of ₹ 10,000/- per month.
Duration
Initially for a period of one year and extendable based on performance evaluation on yearly basis.
Selection Process
- Applications should be submitted online.
- Candidates currently working in Government firms should send applications through proper channel.
- Last date for receiving completed applications is December 31, 2026 . The application portal will be closed for a short period for accepting the applications for the next round of selection.
- If a candidate wishes to apply for different positions, separate application forms should be submitted for each position.
- Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to
any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with
all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus
with end of the project.
Applications which are not in the prescribed format will summarily be rejected.
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply. Applicants will be short listed for the online selection interview based on eligibility criteria. Selection of suitable candidates will be made based on qualifications and performance in the selection interview.
