The one-month BRIDGE-SIP Training Programme, facilitated by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), conducted under the auspices of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram concluded today with a valedictory function at the Akkulam Campus. Nine students from various universities and colleges from Gujarat participated in the internship programme. The interns were awarded certificates by our Director, Dr. Chandrabhas Narayana. Program Coordinator Dr. Rajesh Chandramohandas was also present at the event. The internship included structured hands-on training in cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology, and protein assay techniques by Dr. Mahesh Krishna, Dr. Lekshmy Srinivas, and Dr. Aparna Shankar, along with visits to research labs and core research facilities. The interns presented their work and results and also shared their experiences at RGCB.
