National Symposium on Biotechnology for Sustainable Development 2024
RGCB organized a one-day National Symposium on Biotechnology for Sustainable Development-2024, felicitation of senior scientists and a
poster session for students on 20th April 2024. The invited talks were given by Dr R Aswati Nair, Dr M Sabu,
Dr Rajesh Jha, and Dr Deepak Modi. Two senior faculty members (Dr. Malini Laloraya and Dr. George Thomas)
were felicitated for their valuable contributions to RGCB. Dr. Ananda Mukherjee, who is leaving RGCB for a new career, was given a formal send-off.
Dr Priya Srinivas, Dean (Academics), welcomed the gathering. Professor Chandrabhas Narayana, Director, RGCB,
inaugurated the function and also distributed the certificates to the winners of the poster session.
