Science Day 2023
RGCB celebrated National Science Day. Dr. A Ajayghosh, Former Director, CSIR-NIIST, was the chief guest. He delivered a talk on Science and Society. Professor Chandrabhas Narayana, Director, RGCB, welcomed the gathering. Students from various schools and colleges attended the function. They were allowed to visit the exhibition stalls, different laboratories and facilities of RGCB.
Science Day Celebrations at RGCB-Science Museum, Government Higher Secondary School, Meppadi, Wayanad. Talks on Science were delivered by Dr. S. Asha Nair, Scientist G, RGCB, Dr. E. M. Aneesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, University of Calicut, and Ms. Anjana Ajith, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, St. Mary’s College, Sulthan Bathery. Various Science Activities like quizzes, student project presentations, and demonstrations of chemical reactions were also conducted by Dr. Sreeja, Scientist F, Dr. Anish N P, Scientist C, and Tribal Heritage Project Team, RGCB.
