Inauguration of Central Instrumentation Microinjection Facility (CIMF)

The Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024 commenced at @BRIC-RGCB on 14.09.2024 on the auspicious day of First Onam. RGCB joins the SHS 2024 with emphasis on 'Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata' (4S) as explained to Scientists, Staff and Students by Prof Chandrabhas Narayana, Director,RGCB. This year's SHS2024 programs include programs with societal impact that include a formal Swachhta Pledge and a plantation drive 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' and other promising programs aimed at nurturing community engagement and promoting environmental stewardship. RGCB takes the lead under DBT in making the SHS2024 an impactful one, as in the previous years. The campaign aims to inspire a shift towards fostering sustainable behavioral change, integrating cleanliness into daily habits, and promoting public participation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The activities at RGCB to highlight Swachhata Ki Bhaagidari - Public participation, awareness, and advocacy for Swachh Bharat, Sampoorna Swachhata - Mega cleanliness drives targeting difficult and dirty spots (Cleanliness Target Units) & SafaiMitra Suraksha Shivir - Single-window service, safety, and recognition camps for sanitation workers' welfare and health. RGCB is committed to contribute to a cleaner and healthier India.
